The Tumaini Home and Samaritan Village
The Samaritan Village is a safe place for children in Tanzania. Orphans have found their Forever Home and are fully loved and supported. Mama Jacinta is the widow of a pastor and she loves with wisdom and experience.The children range from infant to college and each is excelling in what they love best.
The Tumaini Team is their outreach into the local community, and wherever a vulnerable child has lost a parent, if he or she can stay with the remaining parent, or a relative, the Tumaini Team comes alongside with monthly visits, encouragement, help, and these children are excelling as well. Once a month all the children gather at the Tumaini Home for fellowship and fun.
This is a model which is transforming the region. Any child found alone is brought here, and is safe. This is ending the trafficking and child soldier reality of the past.
